We're hearing this term "soy boy" more often now, across the country. Some are even calling it the new "cuck". The question for many is, what is a soy boy? Several articles have referenced research led by Jorge E. Chavarro from Harvard, published in the journal Human Reproduction which states that amongst the men in its study "there was a statistically significant trend toward decreasing sperm concentration with increasing soy foods intake".
Most of us aren't taking the term too seriously and consider soy boy as another term for a soft, beta male. Common soy boy traits generally include: retaining high sensitivity to anything remotely "offensive", identifying as a male feminist, possessing a whiny victim mentality, and crying easily and often.
While soy boy may serve as a funny insult, dating in the soy boy era brings a different perspective. Soy boys are usually insecure and have been guilted into thinking masculinity is dangerous, toxic and associated with "privilege". These males try to become more feminine in order to appease their female counterparts, but then devolve into an an emotionally frail, noncommittal boy. For the most part, they are just trying to get into your pants.
Often, soy boys are not just mentally weak, but physically lacking as well. Many soy boys cannot do basic physical work (i.e. mowing the lawn, fixing a toilet), rendering them pretty ineffective to most women. If you're anything like the average female, you probably don't relish at the thought of repairing the kitchen sink and would rather a man do it for you. That is, after all, the reason we hire men to do this work. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2017, only 2.2 percent of the 600,000 plumbers, pipelayers, pipefitters and steamfitters were women.
All of these defects leave these males unable to become real men and offer anything to society, and they cannot provide for society's women. Whether you believe the studies that link soy products to a decline in masculinity, one thing remains certain. Dating a weak man is really not preferable if you are attempting at any type of serious relationship. Find yourself a mature man instead, because anything less than that is less than you deserve. Strong women deserve strong men. So keep the soy in your refrigerator and out of your dating life.
